The Spirituality in Nursing elective I teach is the most rewarding teaching/learning opportunity I have enjoyed. I appreciate being given the freedom to nurture student's spirituality in a school with such cultural, spiritual and religious diversity. The students teach me wonderful things every semester!

Embracing the specialty of Faith Community Nursing has been the highlight of my career. I am passionate about helping students understand the connection between faith and health from an interfaith perspective. I believe nursing is a ministry and is Holy Ground.
Personal Highlights
I adore my wonderful husband and two great step-sons. I am blessed by having a ministry as a Parish Nurse at Grace Community Church. I enjoy gardening, reading, and sharing spiritual stories with people. I also love spoiling my two precious nieces!
