Professional Highlights

Outstanding Performance as Faculty Member Award from Howard Community College in 2004-2005 and 2001-2002; Elizabeth Collins Lee Award from University of Maryland. I am excited about the success of a course I helped creating. The course was called “Survival Tactics for Beginning Nursing Students,” covering such topics as: Time Management and Organization, Stress Management, Group Dynamics/ Group Work, and Studying/ Test Taking Strategies.

Personal Highlights

I have moved from Maryland to West Virginia and live with my husband surrounded by the magnificent mountains and natural beauty. I am passionate about "caring," both as a concept and a way of life. I love to care for my patients, students, family, friends, plants and animals. Caring permeates through every thing I do in my life....
