•	Dr. Li's research interests include: Customer Satisfaction; Service Quality Management; International Supply Chain Management; Quantitative Methods Applications in Finance; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation; Financial Risk Management and Investment Analysis. Dr. Li has 18 refereed journal papers published, and 16 refereed proceeding papers published or accepted at regional, national and international conferences. The journals which his papers were published in include Industrial Management and Data Systems, Journal of Banking and Finance, Total Quality Management and Business Excellence, International Journal of Services and Standards, and International Journal of Management and Enterprise Development. Dr. Li and his team have translated and published the two most important APICS reference books (APICS Dictionary & Introduction to Materials Management) into Chinese. This foundational work will significantly improve the influence of APICS Body of Knowledge into China.
•	Dr. Li's consulting interests include: International Supply Chain Management; International Purchasing/Procurement/Sourcing; International Transportation/Logistics; International Trades; Production and Inventory Management; Quality Management; System Analysis and Design; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); Risk Management and Investment Analysis. Besides his academic research and his professional designations, as the Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Li has been working with his business partners to run an international trade company since 2004. As a project manager, Dr. Li also has a two-year working experience at Tianjin Science & Tech Venture Capital Investment Company during 1994-1996. He has gained lots of practical, operational, and entrepreneurial experiences which are very beneficial to his research and teaching.

Dr. Bingguang Li received the 2008-2009 Byrd Award for Excellence in Teaching from Byrd School of Business, May 2009.

Dr. Bingguang Li received the 2009 Wilkins Appreciation Award from Shenandoah UniversityMay 2009.

Dr. Bingguang Li was the only nominee from Shenandoah University for 2009 Virginia Outstanding Faculty Awards from State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), Fall 2008.

Dr. Bingguang Li received "2006-2007 Byrd Award for Outstanding Scholarship", Byrd School of Business, Shenandoah University.

Dr. Bingguang Li received one of the first three ever "Outstanding Alumnus Award" from his alma matar, Lixian County High School (enrolling more than 6,000 students from grade 10 to 12), Hebei Province, China, July, 2007.

Member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
